Duties * Responsible for pre and post-award contracting functions in the development, justification, coordination, and completion of a large number and variety of procurement transactions. * Provide guidance for acquisition planning functions for specific requirements by coordinating with customers. * Executes and/or recommend award of a contract for complex services and supplies. * Identify and address contractor performance issues. * Ensures the requirements of law and regulations have been complied with and clearances and approvals have been obtained prior to signing contracts. * These duties are described at the full performance level of GS-12. The duties at the GS-09, or GS-11 level are developmental leading to such performance.
