PAINTER WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

Duties * You will prepare and paint automotive and heavy construction equipment, ISO containers, parts, fiberglass boats and/or other components. * You will determine method, techniques, devices and material needed to paint equipment * You will prepare and paint automotive and heavy construction equipment with professional results. * You will monitor and appropriately dispose of cleaning, thinning coating and waste materials. * You will ensure work is completed in compliance with all safety regulations. * You will ensure plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are readily available. * You will place templates and stencils for insignia, numerals, letters and other markings. Must possess knowledge regarding mixes, thins, blends, matches, tints and tones to include CARC paints, Low-VOC polyurethanes requiring ctalyst, urethanes, accelerators etc. Must know how to apply various paints to prepped surfaces with various methods including HVLP paint guns. Must know how to perform body work, conduct repair to various surfaces to include metal surfaces with DA sander, air file, needle gun etc. Ability to paint insignias, markings, or other identifications and applies decals.
