Duties * You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or system of budget administration including formulation of budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. * You will present and defend budget estimates before authorities, review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. * You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of the organization's programs and administrative operations. * You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. * You will identify, analyze, and resolve a range of budgetary problems such as development of alternative methods of funding. * You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary, and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers. * You will perform managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems, and analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds. * You will coordinate directly with higher headquarters, other installations, program managers and functional personnel on financial and budgetary matters.
