Duties Operates a variety of power operated tools and equipment such as chain saws, hedge trimmers, tillers, hoes, chippers, tractors, trucks, pressure washers, etc. Services equipment before use, making adjustments or minor repairs through replacement of worn or damaged parts. Assists higher graded workers with general facility maintenance such as minor repairs to doors, floor/floor coverings, walls, ceilings, windows, light fixtures, painting, etc. Assists in the general upkeep and maintenance of athletic fields and surrounding grounds. Prepares and maintains athletic fields for respective play (lines fields, places bases, secures windscreens, installs goals/goalposts, moves bleachers, etc) making repairs as needed or directed, OR assists in general upkeep of recreational areas and grounds (RV Park, Beach, camping Areas, Picnic/Event Grounds, Recreational Cabins) including maintaining grounds (mowing/weeding, maintaining ornamental plant beds) minor maintenance/repair of picnic tables, barbeque areas, ten/RV sites, parking areas, emptying large trash containers and disposal of trash.
