Responsibilities: • Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ? Gather information from end users and work with software developers to answer user questions and to solve user issues. ? Obtain technical data from independent observation, research, review with technical staff members, and studies of published materials and existing documentation. ? Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), analysts, programmers, and other technical staff to obtain relevant information on technologies, methods, and standards of software, applications, and systems. ? Interface with a diverse group of end users to understand and resolve user issues with the system. ? Document and track user issue resolution in ticketing system and leverage this data to develop FAQs and other knowledge management materials. ? Create, edit, and manage material prepared by other writers. ? Perform quality assurance on all materials. ? Demonstrate and leverage effective questioning, written communication, verbal communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and technical writing skills. • Required Qualifications: ? 2+ years of experience in a role that requires technical writing, such as a Technical Writer, Configuration Manager, Systems Engineer, Knowledge Manager, Instructional Designer, Technical Trainer, or similar role. ? 2+ years of experience with creating documents that effectively communicate highly technical material to non-technical audiences. ? Experience with research and analysis. ? Experience successfully managing multiple projects and delivering on tight deadlines. ? Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma plus additional 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree • Preferred Qualifications: ? Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence. ? Familiarity with the Assessment & Authorization Process
