REMOTE WORK FROM HOME POSSIBLE
Leading insurer seeks an experienced Underwriter to provide support and services to assigned producers within broad underwriting authority levels.
Candidate will support and service Casualty and Property Insurance Products for Technology Companies and Tech issues in other industries including: information technology, telecommunications, software, fuel-cell technology, fiber optics, surface-mount technology, data centers, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, data breach, privacy, high-tech equipment (property), laboratories, etc.
Activities:
*** Develop and maintain account list of prospects and key accounts.
*** Execute underwriting strategy, audit new & renewal business, and document approvals of underwriting edits.
*** Examine, identify, and evaluate exposures.
*** Accept, decline, or modify risks within assigned territory.
*** Identify gaps in coverage and services and communicate to the Product team.
*** Support agencies and monitor performance and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
*** Bachelors degree.
*** 4+ years of Complex Commercial or similar Underwriting experience in the Medical Tech, Technology, Life Sciences, or similar industry.
