Dogwood Management Partners, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business with a long history of working with the federal government, is seeking a Senior Maximo Java Application Developer for a key opening we are working on with IBM and the FBI. This is a full-time onsite position offering a competitive salary, plus excellent benefits for the selected professional. The position can also be set up on an hourly rate basis. Position is under a long-term federal agency contract: • NO THIRD PARTIES CONSULTANT CANDIDATES • US CITIZEN or LEGAL RESIDENT ONLY The Maximo Java Application Developer will design and implement auto-scripts and customized java development solutions as directed by the Project Application Architect. He or she will work closely with the functional and development teams to meet the business requirements of the client. Required Skills:
• Must have at least seven (7) years of software development experience with hands-on practical experience in the specific programming languages and technologies to be used in customizing Java Classes and Objects in Maximo • Shall have at least five (5) years of experience with Maximo
• Shall have completed the IBM Certified Application Development – Maximo Application Platform V3.2.1 certification process within the past three (3) years
• Must have experience in configuration and installation of interfaces between Maximo and a COTS application
• Must have a Professional certification as a Java Developer/Programmer
• Must be a Certified Infrastructure Deployment Professional – Maximo Asset Management V7.6 or an IBM Certified Advanced Deployment Professional – Maximo Asset Management V7.06
• Experience with Maximo mobile solutions is highly preferable Preferred Skills:
• 2+ years' experience with java class extension in IBM Maximo 7 or later • 2+ years' experience with creating and editing xml files • 2+ years' experience with Mobile App Development for Android and/or iOS
• Experience working with agile implementation teams
