Job Overview:
The Salesforce Developer is responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce applications and platforms using Salesforce's suite of tools, including Apex and VisualForce, to create tailored solutions to improve business processes, enhance customer relationship management, and drive operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves understanding business requirements, designing technical solutions, coding, and maintaining Salesforce systems to meet organizational needs. The role is ideal for those passionate leveraging Salesforce technology to drive business success. In this capacity the role offers the opportunity to work on critical projects and drive significant operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Developer is responsible developing technical solutions on the Salesforce platform to support the organization's processes and capability needs:
· Translate functional requirements into technical requirements
· Optimize existing Salesforce configurations and develop new features
· Participate in solution design and apply/contribute to best practices
· Analyze and troubleshoot Salesforce issues
· Improve Salesforce processes and propose solutions based on Salesforce platform capabilities
· Estimate efforts and follow development lifecycle processes
· Perform data migration using Salesforce.com approved tool
· Create/maintain Salesforce documentation
· Build custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules in Salesforce
· Develop custom applications and perform unit testing using Salesforce.com Apex, Visualforce, Lightning/Aura Components, Force.com, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Design System (LDS), JavaScript, CSS, HTML, etc.
· Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates
· Ensure the best possible quality of the application
· Provide Salesforce administration support
· Troubleshoot/resolve issues as they arise

· Communicate progress, issues, and recommendations to the management team
· Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog, in liaison with stakeholders
· Take ownership of project work and developing client relationships (should be a confident self-starter)
Qualifications:
· Degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or related filed
· 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce platform developer
· 1+ years of experience providing Salesforce administration support
· Certified Salesforce Platform Developer (required)
· Certified Salesforce Administrator (preferred)
· Proficiency with Salesforce.com Apex, Visualforce, Lightning/Aura Components, Force.com, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Lightning Design System (LDS)
· Experience with Salesforce architecture and custom coding
· Familiarity developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
· Excellent written and oral communications skills
· Demonstrated continued personal/professional development
· Active in the Salesforce community
