The Crown Is Yours

We are growing our Sports Intelligence Product team at DraftKings!  As we reinvent the future of our sports platforms, the Sports Intelligence team is responsible for the data, systems and models to generate best-in-class Sportsbook odds for our customers and business. As a Product Manager I, you will drive the vision and strategy of our pricing workflow to ensure our data scientists have the best technologies available to them in order to produce their best work.  You will have a deep understanding of the Sportsbook industry and a strategic mindset to lead the development and execution of our sports data acquisition strategy and roadmap.

You will identify and prioritize the sports data that will give us a competitive edge, closely monitoring the content roadmap to ensure we are leveraging all advantageous data, and setting the vision for how we present sports data across all our verticals. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A PRODUCT MANAGER I

  • Act as the owner of our Sports Intelligence - Sport Data Management space. Utilize industry experience to set the vision and roadmap in this area, ensuring we stay ahead by leveraging innovative data strategies for competitive advantage.

  • Collaborate with vertical leaders of Sportsbook, DFS, and Pick6 to understand content roadmaps and ensure the availability of the necessary sports data for upcoming launches.

  • Partner with Business Development to explore and evaluate new potential data sets for strategic utilization.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Software Engineering teams to design systems and products that deliver sports data effectively, enabling the development of engaging features for our customers.

  • Use analytical tools and data to drive insights, set priorities, and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Own end-to-end product management process on services within scope: vision documents, roadmaps, requirement documents, etc. 

  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to sports data.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in business, data, or computer science field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Industry experience with sports data providers is a plus.

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management or Analytics

  • Robust understanding of the Sportsbook industry.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying databases.

  • Experience in Tableau or another data visualization tool.

  • Strong background in collaborating with business development, engineering teams, data engineering, analytics and data science teams are a plus. 

  • Analytically oriented mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $94,080.00 - $141,120.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
