What We’re Seeking


The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) contributes to company performance by providing day-to-day execution of the HR People Strategy for the Functional Group(s). Will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; employee relations; policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management; and talent management. May carry out additional responsibilities to include employee development initiatives and training. May carry out additional responsibilities to include organizational design, employee development initiatives and training.


 


What You will Do (Responsibilities)



  • Business Partnership and Support

    • Understand business strategy, plan, and activities, assess needs and barriers in order to drive business performance through development and delivery of people strategy and solutions (e.g., leadership development and gaps, succession planning, acquisitions and integrations, etc.)

    • Advocate for the needs of the Functional Group

    • Provide guidance and advice to Functional Group Leaders

    • Provide accountability to the Functional Group, to ensure Leaders are living the Spirit.

    • Provide regular and continual feedback and support.



  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

    • Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team, as needed for recruiting support, which may include, interviewing, and offering employment.

    • Support the needs of the Functional Group during the intake call to ensure business needs are clearly defined.

    • Facilitate the Pre-Hire onboarding, and New Hire Orientation, as needed for the Functional Group



  • Talent Management

    • Partner with Managers on developing short-term people plans and annual goal setting process to ensure alignment to business groups strategic priorities.

    • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.

    • Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables (performance and talent management) for assigned Functional Group



  • Employee Relations

    • Provides day-to-day coaching to employees and leaders on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application, talent management and development.

    • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.

    • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

    • Support unemployment process, as needed, which may include responding to claims, and attending appeals hearings as requested.



  • Safety and Wellness

    • Participate as a member of the Safety Program Steering Committee.

    • Support individuals and the Functional Group with Worker’s Compensation Claims.

    • Work closely with the HR Specialist for Safety and Wellness.



  • Continuous Improvement

    • Actively promote cultural change and support new ways of working and continuous improvement within HR to provide a high quality, professional, consistent, and cohesive HR service. This includes working collaboratively and communicating proactively; understanding the needs of and eliciting and monitoring feedback from employees and identifying and delivering developments to enhance service delivery and employee experience.

    • Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best practices within business group and in external environment to ensure alignment of business objectives to the people strategy.



  • Leadership and Teamwork

    • Work to achieve common understanding of and commitment to the delivery of the HR Team’s objectives and role model effective leadership behaviors. Provide feedback and coaching to other members of the HR team as appropriate.

    • Proactively work with your cross-team to encourage growth and development.

    • Provide regular and continual feedback and support.




 


What You will Need (Qualifications)



  • 3+ years of Human Resource experience with increased level of responsibility

  • 1+ years’ experience with HRIS required.

  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office – specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal customer service skills

  • Ability to effectively and professionally convey information to others, be an active listener and develop healthy working relationships with others.

  • Detailed-oriented and strong organizational skills

  • Good judgement, decision making skills and ability to keep information confidential.

  • Must be able to work and communicate well with a variety of people at all levels within the company, as well as outside of the company.


 


(Preferred Qualifications)



  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business, or other relevant industry experience

  • Bi-lingual with the prominent language for the region is a plus (Spanish)

  • Previous experience with UltiPro

  • An appropriate people management qualification such as, SPHR, PHR or SCP Certifications
