What We’re Seeking


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Business Systems to spearhead the management,


defining, leading, and implementing business solutions that drive strategic objectives and operational efficiency.  The successful candidate will forge strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities for business enhancements through process optimization, innovative technology solutions, and comprehensive training programs. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in driving transformative change and delivering measurable business improvements.


 


 What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)



  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior executives, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic vision for business solutions that aligns with the company's current and long-term goals and objectives.

  • Portfolio Management: Document business initiatives and collaborate in prioritizing individual and enterprise priorities and risks.

  • Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new solutions and processes across the organization.

  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of solution architects, business analysts, and partnering with project managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to business solutions and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for business solutions projects, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.

  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology providers to ensure the best solutions and services are procured.


 


 


 


 


 


What You’ll Need (Qualifications)



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 10+ years of related experience in IT, Operations, Finance, or related field.

  • Deep functional and technical knowledge in ERP applications.

  • Strong business and customer/client focus.

  • Ability to strategize, plan, and implement change.

  • Critical thinking and investigative skills.

  • Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proven track record of identifying business improvement opportunities and using technology to add value.

  • Experience in leading business analysis, requirements gathering, and supporting IT projects.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, effective project management, and organizational capabilities.

 Physical Demands and Work Environment



  • Work in an office/desk position using a computer and telephone.

  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers.

  • Ability to view a computer screen for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time, handle deadlines, confidential information, and interruptions in the work process.

  • Must be able to work well with various levels of employees and diverse cultures.

  • Occasional evenings and weekend work to meet deadlines.

  • Travel up to 25%.

  • Hybrid position - 3 days in office (Eden Prairie) & 2 day homes
