Laundry & Store Lunchroom Attendant


 


 


The Laundry and Store/Lunchroom Attendant position is responsible for the cleaning of all smocks, and other laundry items.  Ensures there are ample supplies in the GMP areas for RTE, Pack Off and Temp Room. Cleaning and supplying the Production bathrooms.  Responsible for supplying the lunch room with sandwiches, as well as keeping the lunchroom supplies filled and ordered


 


1.     FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY


·  Execute assigned food safety, quality and continuous improvement ensuring to support SQF requirements, regulatory requirements and customers’ requirements.


·  Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).


 


2.     SAFETY AND HEALTH


·        Wear necessary safety gear provided such as: ear plugs, hairnets, beard nets


·        Assist in maintaining a clean, safe organized work space


·        Successfully complete the mandatory E.A. Sween Quarterly Safety Training sessions for the purpose of complying with both OSHA regulations and E.A. Sween policy.

·        Assist in providing a friendly positive work environment.


·        Must maintain good attendance record.


 


4.     COST (CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT)


·        Contribute to process improvements; participate in kaizen (Tiger Team) events.


·        While working together as a team, produce high quality products at efficient levels of manufacturing using Standard Work,


 


5.      STANDARD WORK


·     Complete any laundry left from the previous night.


·     Ensure all dirty glove containers are empty.


·     Continue to do laundry as it comes in, especially after each period.


·     Once laundry has been washed and dried, smocks for the GMP room need to go in the appropriate totes; smocks for the laundry room are put on hangers and placed in proper rack in laundry room.


·     Supplies need to be replenished in the GMP areas before shift and after each period.  Ensure the supplies are brought down from the storage areas and placed in the laundry area storage.


·     Place daily replenishment supplies on pallet in storage area to be ready for 2nd shift Receiving to bring down from storage.


·     Ensure Pack Off and Temp Room GMP area supplies are fully stocked.


·     Empty garbage outside of Pack Off once a day.


·     Ensure paper towel dispensers are full in the Temp Room GMP area.


·     Clean Men’s and Women’s restrooms after each period, including toilets and sinks; paper towel dispensers are filled; toilet paper is filled in each stall; floor is swept free of debris; garbage is emptied.


·     Ensure lunchroom is stocked for each shift and period. Wipe down counters and tables after each break. Clean the microwaves after lunch break. Ensure there is bread in cupboards and sandwich cooler if filled with sandwiches before all breaks.  Sweep floor throughout the day and mop any spills.


·     Provide list of store orders for Cyndi Proffit by noon every Wednesday.  Pick up ordered items from Receiving area when order arrives.  Review store orders, based on schedule, mark each order with date they can be filled. Notify person when their order is ready for pick up and verify employee has paid for their order and indicate on order form.


·     Scan all orders into system.


·     Reconcile cash box and the end of the day.  At the end of each week, document the amount of money and forward to Accounts Payable.


·     Ensure there are supplies in kitchen areas on 1 and 2 floors.


·     Review current supplies on a weekly basis for lunchroom and Production and indicate which supplies need to be replenished.


·     Receive weekly orders and put inventory away.


·     Review all placed orders to ensure pop & water requests for business meetings are fulfilled. Assist with supplies and/or setting for the monthly ABC meeting or other meetings as requested.


·     Clean tops of refrigerators, shelves, window, outside of cupboards, toasters, cappuccino & hot chocolate machines monthly.


·     Stock refrigerators of CLT members on weekly basis.  Order the fulfill orders for EASween product ordered from its employees.  Track the ordering, fulfilling and payment of store orders.


·     Anything that is asked of you by your Supervisor, QA or Lead

REQUIREMENTS:


A.     Must be able to communicate in English (written, verbal, and electronically)


B.     Must be able to push, pull up to 40 lbs frequently


C.     Must be able to lift 10 lbs. frequently; 11-20 lbs. occasionally


D.     Must be able to stand/move/walk around for entirety of shift


E.     Previous experience (at least 1 year) in a position that required time management and balancing multiple job duties 


PREFERRED:


A.     Food related experience preferred


B.     Previous manufacturing experience or supporting manufacturing experience preferred
