This team manages all products and capabilities needed to help our Sellers easily and quickly list their inventory on eBay. This is one of the most critical aspects of selling for our sellers.You will be responsible for the full suite of Selling APIs and file-based selling tools. These capabilities range from core selling functions like listing creation and fulfilling orders to creating sales and promotions to help convert their listings to a sale. Empowering developers to build third party tools and directly integrate with their own systems is critical to eBay’s selling ecosystem. This role will be Third party and Developer evangelist within the seller experience product organization and will define and lead the strategy for our API and feeds roadmap.Requirements: Deliver Against the Product Strategy & Vision. Own the end-to-end execution of the integration of a 3rd party experience into our portfolio of seller products and capabilities. Champion a data-driven and user informed approach that is measurable and delivers tangible outcomes for our Sellers and the eBay business.Design a Multi-Year Roadmap and Expected Outcomes. Develop a compelling and iterative roadmap and launch plan that supports both our marketplace business growth goals and our seller success metrics. Understand and synthesize analytics & data to make informed decisions, communicate priorities, and monitor change performance.Obsess the Customer & Overall Quality of Experiences. Demonstrate a relentless focus to listen to our end-users and feed their voice into our product development process. Leverage design and research partnerships to get insights and feedback throughout the entire product lifecycle. Build processes for continuous improvements.Break Down Silos & Enable Strong Collaboration. Create connections and processes across teams that will drive efficient cross-team collaboration and clear alignment. Primary teams this role partners with includes.Drive Rapid Prioritization & Execution. Deliver with speed and transparency; practice a “decide and go” mentality and propel the product development process forward to hit our 2023 targets. Partner closely with Program Management to manage through blockers and communicate dates and milestones.Qualifications 5+ years of experience in building products, deep expertise in customer focused product management and product development lifecycle. Experience with online marketplaces and eCommerce platforms preferred.Technical depth and proven experience working with developers as customers; defining requirements and execution on APIs, direct integrations with backend platforms and domain services.Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle from planning through deployment; experience leveraging test and validation frameworks throughout the product lifecycle. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is desirable.Proven ability to operate effectively at multiple levels including setting clear vision to diverse skill sets and rolling up your sleeves/deep diving on concepts when needed. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a changing environment.Strong, concise communicator and effective story-teller; experience using both analytics and qualitative research to express the vision and strategy of the product.Must have a passion for our sellers and the relentless drive to improve experiences for our sellers, influencing a higher bar on quality and ensuring the seller is always at the center of our product roadmap and priorities.
