SENIOR SAP FI CONSULTANT WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

Job Title: Senior SAP FI Consultant Responsibilities of the Senior SAP FI Consultant At McLane Advanced Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP FI Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for a professional specializing in SAP's Finance (FI) module. The successful candidate will be responsible for business process and system analysis, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and the testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of components in an enterprise SAP environment. The Senior SAP FI Consultant will: * Perform business process and system analysis to translate business requirements into technical requirements. * Design and develop solutions within the SAP FI module to meet business needs. * Test and troubleshoot SAP FI components to ensure they meet functional requirements. * Work closely with architects, developers, technical services (i.e., BASIS, Middleware, Portal), and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities. * Involved in the maintenance, enhancement, and development work of SAP FI modules and those that interface with other applications. * Provide change management and training support for SAP FI implementations. * Participate in on-call support to ensure system availability and performance. * Configure and customize SAP FI modules to align with business processes. * Perform integration testing to ensure seamless data flow between SAP FI and other SAP modules like PS, HR, SD, MM, PP, and PM. * Develop and maintain operational and technical documentation of SAP FI processes. * Provide user support and troubleshoot issues related to SAP FI. * Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance functionality and user experience. * Stay current with the latest SAP developments and integration technologies to recommend and implement best practices. * Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management illustrating the effectiveness of SAP FI strategies post-implementation. * Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets related to SAP FI implementations. Qualifications: * • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. * 7 years of experience with SAP, specifically in the FI module, with three years in Federal Financials / Public Sector Accounting. * Two full implementation project/deployment lifecycle experience. * Expert in the Finance, Controlling, and Funds Management modules of SAP ECC 7.0 or later. * Extensive experience with USSGL; Government year-end and month-end processing. * Extensive experience with functions related to AA, AP, AR, GL, Budgetary ledger, billings, cash advances, interest expense, etc. * Functional integration experience with other SAP modules, specifically with PS, HR, SD, MM, PP, and PM. * Experience in using BW & ECC queries for financial reporting. * Knowledge of ABAP components and debugging. * Interface experience, especially with other government systems. * Discrete manufacturing SAP experience. * Solution Sustainment Experience is desired. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex scenarios under tight deadlines. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders. * CompTIA Security+ Certified * Active Secret Security Clearance About McLane Advanced Technologies Headquartered in Tysons Corner, VA, McLane Advanced Technologies is a small business that specializes in providing industry-leading Logistics and Technology services to the Department of Defense, Federal Government, and the private sector.
