This is a great opportunity to join a rising organization as an EDI Developer. You will be responsible for developing new and supporting existing data systems. Specific functions include gathering requirements, documenting, designing, coding, mapping, testing, debugging and implementing data centric systems supporting EDI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with business team members and clients to research EDI transaction issues
Work with Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, and end users to validate and refine requirements and to support testing activities
Oversee and validate EDI operations and daily functions to ensure accurate and complete transaction processing
Design, develop, and enforce EDI procedures and the changes to new and existing EDI clients.
Gather requirements, document, design, develop, test and implement data centric solutions.
Build and improve EDI capabilities using SQL, EDI mapping, and additional technology tools and applications.
Create and consume objects in SQL environments including tables, views and stored procedures
Provide ongoing development support, maintenance, and problem solving to existing solutions
Document and follow technical specifications, guidelines and standards
Contribute in a team focused on Healthcare EDI, Data and Reporting
Thrive in a rapid environment with changing priorities, refining of requirements and tight implementation schedules
Must be willing to stretch skills and contribute in areas not traditionally in the employee's subject of expertise

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with SQL including development of tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, etc.
Experience using EDI and mapping tools
Experience with QicLink, VBA & Healthpac Benefits Administration Systems a plus
Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making
Flexibility to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
Work and communicate knowledgeably both independently and within a team environment
Programming experience in Integrated Development Environment
Microsoft Azure Technology Stack

Qualifications EDI, SQL, .NET, C#, ASP, Visual Studio, XML, XQuery, XSTL, XPATH, SDLC, JSON, MS SQL Server
EDI knowledge in claims, enrollment, eligibility, and financial systems understanding of the file transfer protocol (sFTP) process and SQL
Expertise with HIPAA healthcare data and X12 including 834 Enrollment or 837 Claim
Experience with additional HIPAA transactions including 820, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278, and 999
Related Professional Certifications are beneficial
Experience developing EDI solutions preferable
Four-year degree or equivalent experience in business and computer science
5+ years relevant experience
