Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), you will drive the strategic vision, development, and implementation of EEI s IT infrastructure. Overseeing enterprise-wide IT operations, you will ensure our information systems align with our mission and optimize technology investments. This role involves close collaboration with staff, bridging the gap between technology solutions and business needs, and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency. Partnering with EEI Officers and the CEO, you will help shape and execute the organization s overall strategy. Strategy

  • Contribute to the formulation of the company s business strategies.
  • Advise on emerging technologies and trends relevant to the company's goals.
  • Determine capital investment parameters, priorities, and risks for IT initiatives to maximize ROI.

Leadership

  • Develop and execute an IT vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Align technical architecture, investments, and solutions with business objectives.
  • Prepare and monitor IT operational budgets.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand their issues and opportunities.
  • Implement effective IT organizational design to support business engagement.
  • Ensure transparency and collaboration between IT and business partners.

Team Development

IT Operations

  • Direct the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of computing infrastructure.

  • Implement a comprehensive enterprise information security program.
  • Lead the design and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, processes, and development standards.
  • Monitor industry developments and implement relevant new tools and frameworks.
  • Oversee all vendors and managed service agreements for IT services and equipment.

IT Services

  • Maintain support for core networks.
  • Support and maintain office phone and internet services.
  • Maintain vendor support relationships for all services.
  • Complete and provide business continuity plans.
  • Manage budgets for all shared services.
  • Establish a roadmap for all improvements and projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is required; a master s or advanced degree is preferred. Exceptions may be considered based on skill set and relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience managing large enterprise infrastructure, architecture, applications, and related teams. Progressive leadership experience in enterprise-scale technology is essential.
  • Outstanding Knowledge of various IT systems

  • Experience with nonprofit associations is preferred.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is set at $190,000 - $225,000 annually. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is between 5%-10% of annual base salary, based on performance.

Office Protocol

This is a hybrid position which requires the incumbent to reside in the District of Columbia metropolitan area and come into the office a minimum of three days each week with two of the mandatory days being Tuesday and Wednesday.
