Senior Technician – Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) Learning Center

Job Summary: The Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) Learning Center (TLC) familiarizes staff strike planners and designated warfare commanders with the technical details of the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) weapons systems operation and Tomahawk tactical employment considerations. Description: The subject matter expert (SME) will: Manage installation processes and data within the Navy Modernization Program (NMP) Navy Data Environment (NDE) and Afloat Master Planning System (AMPS) databases in support of TTWCS installations.
Coordinate with the Fleet/Baseline Managers/PMS-421 for NMP approvals.
Format Material Certification Messages for ships completing their Tomahawk Material Certification Inspection.
Provide monthly TTWCS inputs of C5IMP Data Calls that baseline Tomahawk surface combatants.
Participate and draft a POA&M for the monthly Planned Not Authorized (PNA) reviews.
Provide TTWCS inputs for C5IMP Data Calls that baseline Tomahawk surface combatants for the C5I Modernization Conference (NCMC).
Enter eCCB Risk Forms as needed for TTWCS Installations in the Afloat Master Planning System (AMPS) database.
Verify required conjunctive alterations and certifications are in place, or planned, for ships receiving TTWCS upgrades.
Coordinate Ship Change Documents (SCD) into the NMP Entitled Process Module in NDE, including the development of NMP timelines and the creation of the IWS CCB fielding plan brief.
Update SCD fielding plans for changing installation schedules.
Prepare TTWCS installation schedule changes to the PEO IWS Enterprise Process.
Ensure TTWCS installation dates in the Navy Modernization (NM) database match the PMA installation schedule.
Monitor PEO Ships Letters of Authorization for accuracy regarding upcoming TTWCS installations.
Maintain schedule in support of combat system integration and system operational verification test for ship systems and shipboard equipment installation support for both new construction and active fleet ships during various availabilities.
Provide overall Alteration Installation Team (AIT) production activity coordination relative to combat systems modernization events and provide AIT workbook development support.
Review various technical documents (work packages, production schedules, test procedures, etc.).
Support the development of TLC as required, including software loading, software changes, updates, and upgrades. Minimum Requirements:
US Citizen
Secret clearance (to start)
12 years as an Enlisted Fire Control Technician (NEC V20A Legacy NEC 1136)
6 years of shipboard experience
Experience in leading technical teams in troubleshooting and integration testing
Strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills
Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications:
