Experienced Barista - EC One

This position requires knowledge of coffee making and barista experience.

Come join us for an event at Microsoft! In this role you will:

• Brew and creates espresso beverages as ordered by guests.
• You will always maintain cleanliness of the station.
• You will communicate with the Barista Lead when they need assistance or product.

his role will actively communicate with guests in a warm demeanor while crafting their espresso beverage.

Make customized espresso and tea beverages for guests

Brew bigger batches of coffee as needed

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

High-end restaurant serving experience is recommended

Other tasks that as needed

Confident in communicating in English with guests on a regularly basis

No piercings on face or ears, no jewelry aside from simple wedding band, no hats

Hair must be pulled up and clean

No visible tattoos

Uniform requirements (non-negotiable): pressed black slacks (no jeans, leggings, or dresses allowed), white t-shirt, black socks, and black nonslip shoes.

We will provide a button-down shirt and apron

Must have current Food Handler’s Permit

- Some set-up and tear down as required

- Trash disposal

- Other duties as assigned

- Meals likely not be provided, please plan accordingly. Drinks are provided but need to be finished before exiting the building.

- This is a very busy environment, but we ask our team, both internal and external, to maintain a level of calm, professional, and warmth when we communicate with one another.

- Unless you are messaging a supervisor or manager, please keep cellphones in your pocket or stowed away in a locker. Personal phone calls or usage should be saved for breaks. If there is an emergency, please connect with the supervisor and step off the floor to make your call.
