We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Cyber/Network Systems Engineer to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/BC) portfolio. The position is available in El Segundo, California. Duties include but are not limited to: - Support enterprise integration and modernization of tactical level Command, Control & Communications (C3) capabilities to transform satellite operations and improve resiliency. - Perform space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle.
- Manage any program Authority to Operate, Authority to Test, and/or Authority to Connect.
- Support cyber testing and assessment activities
- Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches and/or improvements to cybersecurity posture.
- Participate or lead technical meetings and government-led studies, assess technical baselines and ensure system modifications meet requirements. Qualifications Required (Skills) -MS/MA with more than 10 years of experience
- Knowledgeable in managing technical developmental projects with an emphasis placed on network development projects, network architecture, integrating cyber efforts, systems engineering, requirements development, software engineering, and algorithms
- Knowledgeable in systems engineering, technology development, government acquisitions, and space and intelligence systems
- Knowledgeable in interfacing with the cyber and DoD intelligence community
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills. - Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers.
- IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.)
- MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
