*Job Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registrar to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient registration and admission of patients in emergency care settings.
*Duties*
- Register patients accurately and efficiently in emergency department settings
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect patient information and medical history
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with bed assignments
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and families
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
*Requirements*
- Prior experience in urgent care or emergency department registration preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and health coaching
- Familiarity with catheterization procedures and CT scans
- Proficiency in occupational health practices
- Nice-to-have skills include expertise in botulinum toxin treatment, hospice palliative medicine, and adherence to healthcare standards.

License/Certification:
* BLS Certification (Preferred)

* TNCC Certification (Preferred)
