C5ISR Center ESI is seeking a junior mechanical engineer with some knowledge of configuration Management. The candidate will closely work with engineering leadership and teams on a multi-system enterprise environment focusing to initiating Army’s digital engineering environment. Candidates will be required to assist with the configuration management process embedded in the organization’s product data management system. The organization seeks someone highly motivated and well organized to help facilitate growing base of users that will help enhance the Army’s system portfolio’s configuration management state. Seeking a candidate with the following experience and degree that displays capability of the following:
• Schooling and/or minimal experience as a mechanical engineer for a program/product in industry or as government support.
• Can maintain customer deliverables and tracking of data items.
• Understands Bill of Materials (BOMs), drawings and software builds.
• Can produce CM Metrics and reports based on business needs.
• Reports project status in team meetings
• Can coordinate between PDM vendor and/or customers for data exchange and technological updates.
• Can maintain and contribute to the development of the organization’s CM process (ie. change control of engineering change proposals/engineering release records).
• Can provide training to address new clients in the introduction process.
• Contributes to the development and improvement of CM processes.
• Capable of using Project Management tools (i.e. Microsoft Project, Gantt Charts, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)) to manage projects, resources, and configurations
• Knowledge of DoD data formats and standards for customer deliverables
• Ability to comply with all organizations guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace organization’s core values. Qualifications
