Shift: Days / 7a-5:30p, 10x4, 40 hrs per week, for weekend coverage
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a large tertiary care center is required; may screen if strong skill set and less than 3 years of experience
• Echo Procedure Experience: Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, RIT/RVOT
• Work Setting Experience: Outpatient, Inpatient, Teaching Hospital
• BLS
• RDCS- Adult, RCS
• General Skills Experience: Portables are both required while TEEs is preferred
• Equipment/Scanner Experience Preferred: Phillips

Other Details:

• Daily Caseload: 8-10 pts/ day
• Unit Accepts first-time Traveler: Yes
• Scrub Color: Cranberry and/or hunter green
• Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
• Sonographer will be expected to perform bedside studies as well as patients who come to the dept. (both inpatient and outpatient)
• Sonographer will be expected to participate in weekend rotation which typically means every 5th weekend
• Sonographer may also be expected to pick up a day of call during the week if needed
• Sonographer must live within a 60 mile radius of the hospital
