ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer (SSE) opportunity - fully remote! *Candidates must be US Citizens and hold an active Public Trust security clearance* Our client has an opening for a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) to support an IT program in Washington, DC. This position will map, document, and analyze the customer's current applications on the road to modernizing their architectural environment. This person will analyze and design databases with an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities include:
• Map and document existing applications and workflows in preparation for legacy application and data migration to technologies such as ServiceNow and Salesforce applications
• Provide the customer with ongoing software development and consulting services.
• Develop, maintain, customize, distribute, and manage the system configuration; provide emergency response and testing.
• Provide user and technical documentation. Required Education, Experience & Other:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or field applicable to the position with 8+ years of relevant experience required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ Public Trust security clearance
• U.S. Citizen
• The ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Knowledge and experience with Oracle DBA, Oracle 19c, Oracle Application Express, Java Script, Adobe Fillable Dynamic Form using Adobe Experience Manager
• 508 QC testing experience using JAWs and other 508 tools
• SQL and PL-SQL experience
• Possess excellent communications, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills that include demonstrated abilities to prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and briefings for senior management and capabilities to successfully collaborate with technical staff, professional staff, and executive management
• Ability to align internal as well as external customer and subcontractor stakeholders to achieve agency goals
• In-depth knowledge, skill, ability, and experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level solutions with software development tools
• Build effective customer relationships
• Senior level experience with XML/Oracle DB bi-directional transformations, scripted data validation based on LOVs, range checks, cross field checks, View creation, updating and querying PL/SQL-based DB triggers, functions, and packaged procedures Preferred Qualifications:
• Current Public Trust clearance
