Job Description:
Overall, our Finance Data Governance function exists to provide accurate, trusted and consistent data and reporting, linking data to strategic goals in order to drive better financial decision making. The Finance Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and furthering the governance processes around finance data and drive core initiatives to shape the Finance Data Governance program.

We are seeking someone with experience in working with data and has an appreciation for the relevant leading standards related to quality, compliance, and controls. This individual will use their knowledge and experience to contribute to the development and maintenance of effective finance data governance processes for the entire finance data and reporting landscape and will have the opportunity to partner with teammates across the organization.

In addition, we are seeking someone who will be able to display a foundational level of data literacy, including, the ability to read, write, and communicate data in context, with an understanding of data sources and constructs, analytical methods and techniques applied, and the ability to describe the use case, application and resulting value. This role will also be expected to demonstrate financial management fundamentals, including, understanding financial statements, planning, and performance management processes.

Finally, paramount to the success of this role, is the ability to work cross-functionally, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and effectively communicate with all levels of teammates, including leadership.

About the Team:
This position will report directly to the Finance Data Governance Manager and will work closely with other teammates in the Finance Data Governance organization, as well as the broader Finance Business Intelligence team. This individual will also partner with the Finance organization as well as cross-functionally, including, with the Finance Planning & Analysis teams and Technology partners, to execute key finance data governance initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Strategy / Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
2-4 years of work experience in Data Governance, Analytics, Finance, IS Management, or a related function
3+ years of experience in developing and/or supporting data governance initiatives and standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to leadership
Experience with transformational projects and delivering results (e.g., quality, time, change adoption)
Stakeholder management and cross-functional interpersonal skills
Consistently high attention to detail
Ability to manage various priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Strong desire to learn and continuously improve
Proficiency with MS Office suite
Experience in SAP, Cognos and/or other business intelligence tool(s) a plus
Data governance certification a plus (e.g., CDMP, DGoogle Cloud Platform, etc.)
