TITLE: Inventory Agent LOCATION: Mount Laurel, NJ
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-site POSITION SUMMARY EWA Government Systems Inc. (GSI) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Agent to join our team in Mount Laurel, NJ. In this dynamic role, you will work across the purchasing and inventory departments, placing orders for Bills of Material (BOMs) according to program schedules to ensure timely procurement. You will also receive and organize materials to maintain program ownership, ensuring readiness for use. Additionally, you will support production by releasing authorized parts for assembly, playing a crucial role in the seamless execution of our programs. RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to): * Generate purchase order requests, based off of BOMs, as assemblies are released for production.
* Evaluate and coordinate with suppliers considering price, lead time, quality, and other criteria.
* Be the point of contact for purchase orders made by the division, interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors. This includes coordinating RMAs and the return process of non-conformities.
* Manage stock as it arrives at the facility through the appropriate receiving process. * Completes incoming inspection of all received parts and materials, verifying part numbers and revisions, conducting physical inspections, and cross-examining invoices against the parts received.
* Pull items from stock, based off of BOMs, for assemblies as they are released for production.
* Work with Production Management to provide inventory status updates for parts and materials in support of production schedules and special projects.
* Support all Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives on an as-needed basis. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Associates degree in a relevant field -OR- 5+ years of experience in inventory management.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
* Skilled at multitasking and managing multiple responsibilities. PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Familiar with Costpoint, JAMIS, or other ERP systems.
* Experience working with electronics, electronic assemblies, and similar technologies.
