SALARY: $160,000-$185,000 BASE (Plus BonProfit Share/401K/HSA

LOCATION: San Francisco

HYBRID: 3 Days a Week In Office

Global asset manager seeks a Solutions Architect/Developer. This role focuses on designing solutions and coding custom applications using Microsoft technologies and emerging innovations. The team oversees data and investments throughout the entire lifecycle, covering areas such as Cross-Asset Trade Allocation/Capture/Enrichment, Compliance, Data Management, Reconciliation, Settlements, Corporate Actions, Pricing/Valuation, Portfolio Accounting, Treasury Functions, Wires, and Reporting.

In this position, you'll drive rapid application development and automation to improve operational efficiency and productivity that advances the operational business unit through the strategic use of Low Code Application Platforms and new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and craft tailored solutions.
• Application Development:
• Develop, configure, and customize applications to meet business requirements.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure services to enhance application functionality.
• Adhere to best practices and maintain high code quality.
• Follow Application Lifecycle Management practices for Azure services and Microsoft no-code/low-code platforms.
• Integration:
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems and databases as required.
• Establish efficient data connections and workflows.
• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Operations team.
• Mentor and train team members on best practices for Microsoft no-code/low-code development.
• Solution Optimization:
• Monitor and optimize the performance and functionality of applications.
• Stay current with the latest Microsoft features and emerging technologies.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of applications, workflows, and configurations.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and data protection standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application stability.
• Collaboration:
• Work with business analysts, project managers, and other Software/IT teams to align application development with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in building and delivering solutions using DevOps practices, including automated QA and deployments.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Proven experience developing custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong grasp of no-code/low-code development principles.
• Experience with system integration and data management.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and SQL; Python is a plus.
• Skills in Application Lifecycle Management and familiarity with Agile methodologies are advantageous.
• Ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated success in solving complex problems and generating innovative solutions.
• Financial industry experience is preferred but not required.
