Our client, a leading organization in the technology and healthcare manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior IT Sourcing Associate to join their dynamic team fully remote. As a Senior IT Sourcing Associate, you will be an integral part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Senior IT Sourcing Associate
Location: Remote, Reporting to Maplewood, MN
Pay Range: $40-43/HR
Contract Duration: 6-Months W2 Contract (short term opportunity), No C2C!
Job Function:
- Developing and implementing global sourcing strategies for assigned projects, primarily in Information Technology, to ensure business continuity and value creation.
- Establishing and managing supplier relationships that deliver cost efficiencies and high-quality service to the organization.
- Negotiating and establishing effective supplier contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality, and excellent service standards.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities for successful integration of sourcing strategies and adherence to sourcing guidelines and processes.
- Leading complex projects and initiatives with high value and broad implications for the organization, ensuring successful execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience negotiating IT Software Contracts.
- Minimum 4-year degree in a relevant field.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead complex projects and work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities.
