Duties include:
- Performing work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company guidelines and standards;
- Responsible to the Power Plant Supervisor for the operation of two sets of multiple effect evaporators and the associated SO2 stripper and condensate recovery system;
- Assisting the Assistant Power Plant Operator with acid panel control during startups;
- Possessing solid initiative, with the ability to be self-directed and have the capability to perform as a solid team player
Schedule
Shift start: 7:00AM or 7:00PM
Shift length: 12 hours
12 hour rotating shift schedule involving rotating between 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am shifts. Work weeks typically alternate between 36 hours and 48 hours.
