Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of our digital banking products. As a Product Owner at First Horizon, you will lead an agile team to deliver new features for the First Horizon Digital Banking platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, an understanding of the financial services industry, and a passion for delivering high impact features.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision and Strategy:
• Work closely with Product Manager to develop and execute the product vision and strategy for digital banking.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Analyze data to inform product decisions and optimize product performance.
Product Development:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, developers, and QA to deliver high-quality digital banking solutions.
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring the most valuable features are delivered.
Stakeholder Management:
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and product development efforts.
Customer Focus:
• Advocate for the customer by ensuring that product features and enhancements are designed to improve the customer experience.
• Gather and incorporate customer feedback into the product development process.
• Ensure that all new digital banking products comply with regulatory requirements and security standards.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory concerns.
Performance Monitoring:
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
• Monitor product performance and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in digital banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of digital banking technologies and trends.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Crisp communicator, a talent for precise articulation of complex concepts.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across the organization.
• Ability to work effectively managing multiple deadlines in cross-functional environment.
• Proficiency with product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro, Sharepoint, Figma, etc..)
