The Methods Analyst I will be responsible for reviewing reinsurance, insurance program structure, policy terms & conditions, and system data for accuracy and validating the data for use in natural catastrophe modeling software.

 

Will collaborate with Data Analytics and Aggregation Analysis (natural catastrophe modeling) team members to ensure data is presented accurately and meets the needs of all stakeholders. Ultimate stakeholders of the natural catastrophe modeling results are executive/senior management, policyholders, rating agencies, and regulatory bodies globally.

 

Document discrepancies found during policy reviews, identify trends or training needs, and successfully communicate findings. The analyst will participate in user acceptance testing of new and existing systems to ensure encouraged outcomes and performance.

 

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal clients (Aggregation Analysis team and Operations Processing staff).

 

The analyst will be responsible for detailing and/or modifying data management workflows and procedures as business needs change.


  • A minimum 1-3 years of insurance experience or similar experience assuring data integrity for critical processes
  • Knowledge of FM and Affiliated FM business systems is preferred, not required
  • These systems include GBS, RATS, PDMS, OnBase, and CSS.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, flexible, creative, logical thinker, a multi-tasker who can work under aggressive timelines, embraces change, makes decisions that make sense for the task at hand, can work independently, and is a team player and solid client focus.
  • Must be able to shift focus quickly to prioritize tasks as applicable successfully.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. MS Access knowledge is a desired plus.
  • College preferred.
