Position Overview
The Preventive Maintenance Planner oversees the accurate and timely planning, coordinating, and scheduling of all preventive maintenance activities at the facility to optimize manufacturing capabilities. They will contribute to the organization's success by managing equipment downtime and mitigating unplanned equipment failure. Key Accountabilities Analyze and plan activities to ensure optimized production runs:
Manage equipment downtime and mitigate unplanned equipment failure by entering, reporting, and analyzing data.
Plan and schedule all required maintenance actions to maximize manufacturing down days.
Monitor all plant downtime statistics and reports to formulate and communicate appropriate preventive maintenance activities.
Develop, review, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
Facilitate and administer all aspects of the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to achieve maximum preventive maintenance efficiencies.
Oversee all parts room activities:
Ensure and maintain an optimal level of spare parts inventory to support manufacturing and preventative maintenance goals.
Oversee purchasing, receiving, record keeping, dispensing parts and materials for maintenance.
Develop and maintain vendor, supplier, and internal business partner relationships:
Liaise and provide project and administrative support for plant personnel, accounting, audits, vendors, supplies and other operations as requested.
Develop, review, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance tasks and suggest improvements.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors on parts availability, late deliveries, shortages on orders etc.
Secure vendor quotes and ensure on time delivery of parts
This role adheres to the requirements of and supports the need for monitoring and/or verifying of control points and maintaining the related required documentation. For example, Critical Control Points(CCP), Preventive Controls(PC), Critical Quality Points(CQP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points(HACCP), and Safe Quality Food(SQF) plans. This is not an all-inclusive list. Minimum Qualifications
Technical school certificate in CMMS or related field Technical knowledge related to the job 1-2 years of job-related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor s degree
Technical knowledge related to the job 3+ years of job-related experience
