Position: Talent Advisor

Job Description

 

The Talent Advisor plays a key role in leading enterprise-wide talent programs and processes, strengthening HR collaboration, and enabling a development-focused culture. They partner with regional HR professionals, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and leaders from all functions to develop and deliver best-in-class talent initiatives that ensure organizational clarity, elevate the employee experience, improve retention and internal mobility, and drive business results. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a trusted consultant and subject matter expert (SME) to business leaders, including executives, as well as HR leaders and business partners, in identifying talent opportunities and developing targeted, and enterprise-wide solutions.

  • Lead strategic program development, implementation, and optimization related to key talent programs, including but not limited to, performance management, employee engagement, retention, professional development, and succession planning. 

  • Support the deployment and execution of the annual review process, ensuring timelines are met across all assigned client groups and locations.

  • Truncate talent and relevant data into actionable insights that inform leadership decision making and workforce planning. 

  • Support organizational design in partnership with leaders and HR SMEs, assessing span of control, internal talent depth, skills gaps, etc.

  • Partner with Leadership Development and HR Business Partners in the development and delivery of professional development programming to address key business skills opportunities. 

  • Develop and implement onboarding programs that propel cultural assimilation and functional capability, while improving time-to-productivity for a variety of employee populations, including front-line workers, corporate employees, and leaders.
  • Support the design, execution, and tracking of professional mentorship programs that strengthen functional capabilities across the organization. 
  • Partner with Communications SMEs, business leaders, and HRBPs to ensure change initiatives drive their intended business outcomes
  • All other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs

 

Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or Industrial Psychology, or related field required; Graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in HR, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or similar roles.
  • Prior experience supporting global HR processes or working in a matrixed, multinational environment preferred.
  • Data-Informed Storytelling: Able to distill complex HR data into compelling narratives that enable leadership buy-in and decisions. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Influence: Proven ability to quickly build and leverage relationships based on mutual trust and respect, regardless of position, with a solutions-forward approach. 
  • Project and Process Management: Exceptional at driving timelines, organizing complex inputs, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • HR Technology: Expertise with leading Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) / Human Capital Management (HCM) technologies (Oracle, Workday, SAP, etc.) and Learning Management Systems; we use Oracle Cloud HCM and Bridge.

  • Data Tools: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including but not limited to v/x lookups, pivot tables, etc.; Experience with visualization tools (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) preferred. 
  • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling and protecting sensitive information.
  • Technical: Proficient with common office technologies, including Windows PCs, Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and web conferencing (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.)
  • Environment: Comfort commuting to/from and working in a 100% on-site setting (listed in the job posting).
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel ~40% for related meetings, events, client engagements, workshops, etc.
