Registered Diet Technician

Part-Time
The Registered Dietician is responsible for Nutrition Assessment, Care Planning process, Care Conference process, Resident visitation and interview, Meal observation, Conduct Quality Assurance audits. Participate in the Interdisciplinary team at Resident Care Conference as needed. Become familiar and update on the rules and regulations for Long Term Care Facilities. Assist the supervisor in any other Nutrition related activities. Fill in, in the absence of the supervisor and perform any task required by supervisor.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Nutrition Assessments, Care Planning process, Care Conference process, Resident visitation and interview, Meal observation, and Conduct QAPI audits
- Participate in the Interdisciplinary team at Resident Care Conference as needed
- Become familiar and update on the rules and regulations for Long Term Care Facilities
- Assist the supervisor in any other Nutrition related activities. Fill in, in the absence of the supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited college obtaining an Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics. Completed an approved internship or equivalent and successfully passed the Registration Exam from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Commission on Dietetic Registration Licensed in the State of Ohio as a Dietician or Dietetic Technician.
- Previous experience in Clinical nutrition in either the acute setting or Long Term Care preferred.
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
- Must enjoy working as part of a team
