Finance Intern
Responsibilities
Engage in comprehensive finance and accounting projects which may include asset management, record retention, ERP data accuracy, automation, others as needed
Execute daily and monthly routine tasks, including vendor and customer account maintenance, spending analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
Work closely with experienced finance and accounting professionals to gain valuable insights into supporting accurate financial records and compliance with internal controls
Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data
Qualifications
Proactive and analytical student enrolled in a business, finance or accounting degree program
Excited to contribute to projects that sharpen your technical and problem-solving skills
Intermediate or above Microsoft Excel skills
Available to start in spring or summer 2025 at our Durham (NC) site
Sophomore or above undergraduate or graduate student
Majors: Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or other related majors considered based on experience
GPA: Preferred 3.0 or above. Exceptions may be based on experience and institution
Fluency in Microsoft Office
Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
