Gannett Fleming’s Transit and Rail Business line is looking for client focused, business savvy Prinicipal Program Manager to lead major programs in the West Region area. As Prinicipal Program Manager you will embrace a collaborative style, capable of coordinating with other business groups in ther egion. Responsible for client relations in the region, leading a team of project and program managers.  At a high level, this role will require someone with a track record of effective leadership and exceptional communication skills, capable of mentoring project teams, fostering collaboration with and inclusive approach to leadership.Ensuring project teams work cooperatively to deliver projects on-time and on-budget. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, development, and controlling of major aspects of work associated with the assigned project.  This includes direct responsibility for leading project delivery teams during procurement and overseeing design services during the construction phase of transit projects.  Major responsibilities includeLead development and execution of significant rail/transit projects including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high speed rail, project pursuits and delivery Establish relationships and interact with major clients in the New York Metro area Staff and manage multidisciplinary transportation project teams during projectsManage client expectations as well as engage with external contractors/consultants, working across various business lines internally in the firmFunction as a trusted advisor to clients by promotingMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 15 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in leading engineering / PM positions on major infrastructure projects.Professional Engineer (PE) license in or ability to obtain it within 6 monthsAdept at managing scope/estimate on complex projectsTrack and manage task budgets and schedule experienceDemonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interactionAbility to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this roleProvide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management.At Gannett Fleming, we believe in improving the lives of the people we serve.
