GEA Group's Industrial Heating and Refrigeration Technologies Division is searching for a new teammate! The Outside Service Sales Representative is responsible for implementing and managing the sale of spare parts, repairs, field service, service projects, and service level agreements for the business by utilizing consultative sales tactics and clearly communicating the value proposition, which in turn grow the overall service business.
Responsibilities:
Effect sales of GEA Service Solutions – North America by representing the company in a professional manner
Actively promote the GEA CREATE organizational concept – to external customers and internal employees
Develop trusting relationships with key decision makers within the market
Use of the CRM system involved to understand client needs, provide personalized solutions, and ensure ongoing support
Engage with clients to understand their challenges and offer tailored solutions that address their specific needs
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the involved markets and potential new markets
Clearly articulate services offered by demonstrating how the service can solve problems, improve efficiency, or deliver cost savings
Actively seek opportunities for business growth via the current route to market
Travels to potential and existing clients for sales support/evaluation as needed
Actively prepare proposals for smaller scale projects (service projects) and large plant Service Level Agreements
Responsibility for order entry into ERP system, project management, execution, and invoicing
Assist with training Service Project Execution group for the above item
Maintain Service Projects on Hotlist and appropriate CRM database
Assist with large project Spare Parts orders – provide follow up and ensure the sale is executed
Participate in the negotiation of offers, quotations, and contracts (customer T&C’s)
Obtain assistance from other groups (APC, STEC, PTC, S SER) for more complicated applications
Provides market feedback (competition, trends, etc.) to Solution Service
Your Profile / Qualifications
Profile And Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field preferred.
?3-5 years of experience in Sales/Sales Support is preferred
?Must understand technical process and have a firm understanding of service capabilities?
Must have the ability to learn current ERP system used for order entry/processing.
Awareness of varying route to market and differences in strategic selling approach.
Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
Ability to lead, build relationships, and take initiative.
Strong attention to detail.
Strategic agility and innovative thinking.
?Must be available to travel 75% of available working time
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
