GDIT is seeking a Budget & Operations Analyst to help support our DCIO C4II contract in Alexandria, VA. This position will require the employee to report onsite several days a week.
As a Budget & Operations Analyst, you will ensure the accurate reporting and tracking of the government contractual program finances.
HOW A BUDGET & OPERATIONS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Perform a variety of tasks including verifying budgets, tracking expenses, preparing monthly cost reports and dashboards, and completing both monthly and year-end accruals.
Manage and execute MIPRS, ensuring alignment with DOD financial regulations.
Monitor commitment, obligation, and expenditure of appropriated funds.
Prepare and submit budget document, ensuring compliance with require oversight.
Conduct financial analysis to support reprogramming and funding realignment.
Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain adherence to appropriations guidelines.
Track and approve project budget utilization, calculates project financial forecasts, and reports appropriate metrics.
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for leadership and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
Perform project management to track task progress and ensure deliverables are delivered on time
Work across teams to develop a methodology for planning and scheduling, provide cross team communication
Keep leadership informed of any risks and suggest potential mitigations to ensure overall organization and mission goals are achieved
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
? CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret
? EDUCATION / YEAR'S EXPERIENCE:
----- Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field + 15 years of related financial analysis experience; OR
----- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field + 17 years of related financial analysis experience
? TECHNICAL SKILLS:
----- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically proficient Excel skills is required.
----- Must have experience and understanding of various government contract types and corresponding financial impacts for each.
----- DoD budget/finance experience

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
