*Nursing Assistant Job Description*
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including clinics, long-term care facilities, and hospice care. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients by assisting with daily activities and monitoring their health status.
*9 week contract, 3x12 days*
*LOCALS: $16.25 per hour*
*TRAVEL (50+ miles): $22 per hour*
*Responsibilities*
* Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
* Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
* Provide basic life support when necessary and assist in emergency situations.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
* Support patients in outpatient settings by preparing them for examinations and procedures.
* Engage with patients experiencing behavioral health challenges with empathy and understanding.
* Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
*Qualifications*
* Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
* Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
