We’re looking for a Senior Advisor & Project Lead, Reinsurance in Raleigh, NC to join us in fulfilling our mission, while utilizing our values of excellence, improvement, and connection. This specialized role reports directly to the VP, Enact Re. The role focuses on executing strategic initiatives, applying analytical approaches to decision-making and strategic growth, and facilitating communication across departments.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Strategic and Tactical Projects and Develop Solutions
Develop and lead initiatives that support Enact Re’s strategic goals to provide measurable and exceptional results
Identify, analyze, manage, and develop solutions to optimize the execution of Enact Re’s strategy
Develop, execute, and manage the reinsurance strategy and roadmap
Lead and coordinate strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives
Develop analytics and financial modeling tools to support business analysis
Executive Support and Decision-Making
Establish clear lines of responsibility and develop performance goals that align with the overall business goals
Establish and manage KPI’s and metrics to ensure all business functions meet company expectations; proactively drive awareness and knowledge of needs, gaps, and current successes
Lead the team’s preparation for key meetings and communications; including preparing in-depth analysis and presentation materials for review with the Enact Board & Senior Leadership Team and corporate risk, investment, and capital committees
Oversee end-to-end project life cycles, from initial analysis through execution and post-project assessment
Develop and implement day-to-day management and governance routines for technical reviews, pipeline/business reviews, risk metrics reviews, and operational, insurance, and credit risk assessments
Engage and Partner
Manage relationships with key stakeholders; communicate regularly with cross-functional teams and Enact Re leadership to ensure alignment and to drive future results
Closely partner with various roles across the organization to create solutions for process improvement and new tool implementation
Ensure integrated and aligned functional strategy development and execution; work across the Enact Re organization and key partners to incorporate external views and perspectives
Build and maintain effective relationships with external parties (e.g., regulators, rating agencies, distributors, industry thought leaders)
Facilitate forward-looking discussions and decision-making while fostering a positive, engaged work environment and culture
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or CFA preferred
8+ years of financial services, insurance, banking, or structured experience
Previous reinsurance or insurance industry experience
Proven experience with analytics and financial modeling tools to support multi-scenario analysis, allowing evaluation of multiple outcomes based on different assumptions and variables to help prepare for best-case, worst-case, and most likely scenarios, thereby enhancing strategic planning and risk management capabilities
Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and manage multiple concurrent cross-functional projects and initiatives while continuing to meet deadlines
Experience with project management tools and methodologies
Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to influence change in a dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong ability to be open to different views, provide recommendations, and defend position to senior executives
Ability to influence in absence of formal reporting relationships
Improvement mindset with ability to translate business objectives into actionable tasks
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically
Exceptional administration and operational execution skills
Ability to work extended hours as needed
Ability to travel domestically as needed (less than 10%)
