QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

GeoLogics is seeking a talented Quality Control Technician to work with one of our aerospace and defense partners based in Chelmsford, MA. Position: Quality Control Technician (12+ month contract) Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (1st shift, 4/10) Location: Onsite in Chelmsford, MA Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour DoD Security Clearance: An active Secret Clearance is required for this position. Candidates with a previously held Secret Clearance will also be considered. Due to the nature of work performed in the facility, U.S. citizenship is required. Job Description: * Performs all types of inspections to support all phases of assembly and manufacturing. * Must have a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings/interpretation, math and instrument reading as well as a complete understanding of wiring diagrams. * Must know how to use basic measuring equipment and instruments used to continuity check various assemblies/components including basic personal computing literacy. * Is required to know and fully understand the workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor. * Must have a thorough knowledge of all paperwork/documentation associated with the aforementioned inspection functions, also must be able to properly document in a neat and legible manner, all types of errors or discrepancies found. * Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and/or material and injury to self and/or others. * Must maintain a neat and orderly work/inspection area.
Required Skills/Qualifications: * Active (or previously held) DoD issued Secret Clearance
* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum of 3 years of experience with Quality Control inspection
* Microscope visual inspection
* ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Training / Awareness
* Experience with inspection hand tools
* Ability to follow work instructions
