Position Overview: As a Surgical Technologist at Glendive Medical Center, you'll play a crucial role in providing safe, efficient, and supportive care to surgical patients. This full-time position includes on-call hours with rotating holidays and weekends, offering flexibility and variety in your work schedule. Working under the supervision of surgeons and peri-op nurses, you'll utilize your knowledge of asepsis and sterile technique to ensure optimal outcomes for every procedure.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and peri-op nurses in providing a safe and efficient surgical environment
  • Apply principles of asepsis and sterile technique to prepare operating rooms and equipment
  • Acquire and organize equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Serve as a liaison between surgeons, instrument representatives, and hospital staff
  • Fulfill additional roles such as sterile processing and equipment acquisition as needed


Requirements:
To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

  • Graduated from an accredited school of surgical technology or LPN nursing program
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting
  • Basic computer skills required
