Job Description:

Our Franchise Operations Manager coordinates and supports all franchise (Subway, Ramunto’s, Aroma Joe’s, Honey Dew, D’Angelo’s’) activities in their assigned locations. Trains, coaches, supports managers in ensuring all brand standards are implemented and followed at all locations. Works with the management team on the development of new business. Plans and sets business goals for each location. Focuses on in store issues and is actively involved with the personal development of all team members.

  • Provide leadership to managers and staff in their assigned area to ensure compliance with standards set in franchise operations manuals and applicable government regulations.
  • Work with staff to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure that correct operational and food safety procedures are followed and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Coach and train franchise managers, food supervisors and staff for operational excellence. help to develop new hire orientation programs, monitor training program to ensure quality training of all employees.        
  • Develop and maintain staffing level for Managers and assistant Managers. Implement management training.
  • Support local and national marketing initiatives.
  • Complete online course work on University of Subway and Global U as directed. 
  • Work with the Manager to make sure all shifts are covered and ensure stores in area are scheduling within budget guidelines.              
  • Supports weekly counts and ordering.
  • Supports recruiting and interviewing perspective franchise foodservice employees.
  • Ensure excellent customer service. Resolve guest complaints & concerns.
  • Ensure that all reports and logs are accurately filled out in a timely manner.
  • Complete Zenput evaluations once per month at locations in assigned concepts.
  • Work with Manager to complete action log to correct any issues in evaluations from Food safety & branded Field Consultant.
  • Monitor purchase and Inventory movement reports.
    • If concepts in territory are not part of a C-Store, GMs of these concepts report to Manager of Franchise Operations. Responsibilities include:
    • Oversee GM in Workday & Reflexis
    • Review cycle counts
    • Verification of Deposits
    • Correct PDI issues more than 7 days old.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of retail food sales and prior leadership experience in a food service environment required.
  • Must attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M, sexual harassment, etc.)
  • Must be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends and or holidays, assist other locations as needed, and be available via phone after regular business hours, weekends, and holidays.      
  • Be able to freely access all areas of the store and must be able to work any area of the store when needed, including work in walk-in coolers and freezers.  
  • Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, grasping firmly, reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong math and computer skills including Microsoft Office and email.
  • Supervise day to day schedules and agendas of Field Managers in R6.
  • Complete all Workday related duties for Field Managers in Org Chart
  • Maintain Subway relationship including:
    • IPC oversight
    • Quick Supply Purchasing
    • Coordinate remodels & Subway refresh
    • Subway University completion rates
    • Coordinate new program training, equipment, and product communications
    • CAP resolutions for REV inspections
    • Subway Combo Reports for Accounting
    • Ensure EZ Catering orders are confirmed and communicated to appropriate Field Manager, Franchise Manager & GM
    • Update Subway pricing via Menu Manager
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
