Position InformationHiring Manager:Associate DirectorDepartment:Structured ProductsDepartment OverviewThe Planning & Operations (“P&O”) Group drives planning, analytics, data management and technology projects while providing operational support for the Investor Partners Group (“IPG”), which has primary responsibility for all of Golub Capital’s business development and client relationship management activities. The team possesses both a deep understanding of IPG’s needs as well as a strong set of unique technical expertise. The Business Operations subgroup manages the operational responsibilities for client-facing teams including reporting, fund close processes, data initiatives and technology projects. Business Operations works very closely with the Global Institutional Sales and Private Wealth Americas Team to provide support for the day-to-day client-service activities.Position Responsibilities Collaborating with the Private Wealth Americas Team to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business needs and objectivesCollecting and documenting crucial business requirements for projects, including the design of new reports and the development of streamlined workflows and processesProactively managing vendor relationships with Transfer Agents, Fund Administrators and digital service providers / platforms (e.g., DST, iCapital, +Subscribe, CAIS)Ensuring comprehensive documentation and maintenance of all critical Investor Services business processes to support operational efficiencyIdentifying, communicating, and tracking key achievements, action items and potential issues to ensure timely completionCandidate RequirementsQualifications & Experience: 7+ years of financial industry experience; 3+ years of relevant experience in the Alternative Asset Management industryExpertise in business analysis and project management, demonstrating the ability to drive projects to successful completionKnowledge of the investor lifecycle, including onboarding, maintenance and wind-down procedures of alternative investment fundsExperience working closely with technology / service provider vendorsStrong communication and problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt to changing business needsAbide by our work-in-office policies then in effectCritical Competencies for SuccessOur Gold Standards Model defines key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions:  Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically. Evaluates questions and requests regarding documentation language from investors in relation to the impact on the deal.Relationship Management:  Establishes relationships with internal and external stakeholders to initiate and evaluate potential deals or investors.Compensation and BenefitsFor New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $175,000 to $225,000 for a Vice President and $150,000 to $170,000 for an Assistant Vice President. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
