Sous Chef—Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Strong scratch-cooking fundamentals with a focus on consistency and execution
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and support line cooks and prep teams
  • Hands-on leadership style — works the line, leads “elbow to elbow” with the team
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
  • Ability to maintain quality, speed, and composure during peak service and game-day volume
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and high-volume event days
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen post-offer
