The Sous Chef will play a critical role in the opening of this new restaurant, working closely with the Executive Chef and leadership team on menu execution, kitchen systems, and staff development. Prior to opening, or as business needs dictate, this role may also support operations at other existing flagship restaurants.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with all kitchen operations, including prep, service, and execution at the highest fine-dining standards
  • Support menu development, tastings, and seasonal changes
  • Help lead, train, and mentor culinary staff
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
  • Collaborate closely with front-of-house and leadership teams during service

Qualifications

  • Previous Sous Chef experience in fine dining or Michelin-caliber restaurants
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation culinary environment
  • Flexibility to assist at multiple locations during the opening phase
