Operating Expense Accountant Requirements & Qualifications


  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Bilingual: Korean/English (must speak, read, and write Korean; basic English comprehension required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (Business, Finance, Economics, or Statistics); equivalent experience and accounting knowledge considered
  • 1–3 years’ relevant accounting or office experience
  • General understanding of accounting processes and functions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems (SAP R3; S4 HANA Public Cloud experience a plus)


Operating Expense Accountant Preferred Background & Skills


  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP R3 or S4 HANA Public Cloud


Operating Expense Accountant Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Review and process invoices and related documentation from multiple departments, entering data into SAP
  • Prepare operational expenditure payment batches and verify expense reports for compliance
  • Reconcile operational expense accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Manage schedules for prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, and fixed assets, including depreciation
  • Monitor and reconcile operational support inventory
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements related to operational expenses
  • Analyze spending trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction
  • Support special projects as assigned
