Dental Hygienist

Private Family Owned Dental Care practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our family-oriented dental practice. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality preventive and therapeutic oral healthcare in a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Conduct oral health assessments and record detailed patient histories
• Take and develop dental X-rays (as required)
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed
• Identify signs of oral diseases and communicate findings to the dentist
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Provide a comfortable, positive experience for patients of all ages

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Dental Hygienist license (state-specific)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required by state law)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and team members
• Prior experience in a family dental practice is a plus
