We are seeking a Boutique Hotel Sous Chef for our Key West hotel. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in fine-dining / upscale cooking, have a passion for the culinary arts and love leading a team.


Boutique Hotel Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in Luxury Hotel kitchen management
  • At least 1 year of kitchen leadership (CDC, Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef) in a fine dining restaurant
  • Ability to work within food cost and labor cost guidelines

Boutique Hotel Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Must have a collaborative mindset, able to partner with the Executive Chef and multiple other departments. Foster a positive kitchen environment.
  • Love what you do, passion for cooking, developing the team and guest service. Attention to detail and ability to uphold high standards.
  • Hands-on leadership style, able to train, and support the team.
  • Strong culinary skills, strong fundamentals. Creative and up to date on culinary trends.
  • Menu planning skills, prep list and game plan to successfully execute top quality service.
  • Strong organization and communication skills, able to support on all administrative tasks. Recipes, menu costing, production sheets, and prep lists. 
  • Able to monitor and control costs, food cost, labor cost, able to schedule to business levels.
