Geotechnical Construction Design Engineer Requirements:

• Must be local in the Orlando FL area - no relocation options available
• Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
• Must have a Florida PE license
• 4+ years of current experience as a titled Design Engineer for a Geotechnical Construction company
• Experience with MSE walls, shored excavations, and FDOT specifications
• Experience with foundation, grouting and/or retaining wall design and construction
• Experience with estimates, proposals and project delivery activities
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
• Autonomous mentality, critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, LPILE, DeepFDN, Shoring Suite, etc

Geotechnical Construction Design Engineer Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a contractor/design-build environment
• Existing relationships with FDOT constructors, Florida developers, design engineering firms and GCs
