This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional to play a key role ensuring sound financial operations for multiple event-driven properties in southwest Georgia.


Accounting Manager Benefits & Compensation

Accounting Manager Requirements & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • High-level proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require


Accounting Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in arena or convention center accounting
  • Experience supervising or leading others in a finance role
  • Familiarity with accounting software, especially NetSuite and Coupa
  • Experience collaborating across different levels of management

Accounting Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Finance in daily, monthly, and year-end finance department operations
  • Take an active role in ensuring accurate, timely financial statements and reports
  • Oversee and review credit card expenses, accounts receivable/payable entries, and cash receipts
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Safeguard company assets by monitoring accounting procedures and assisting with audits
  • Assist with event-related financial settlements and prepare show income/loss statements
  • Help implement and monitor internal controls, compliance, and best practices
  • Contribute to the preparation of audit materials and respond to client reporting requests
